In homage to John Smith's A Journal of Impossible Things, A Blog of Impossible Things is a web log dedicated to critical readings and analysis of the science fiction television show Doctor Who. Contributions will be welcome on all aspects of the show, from cultural impact and narrativity, to viewpoint, and character analysis. Essays might involve researching ties to classic and contemporary works, covering all mediums, and including both "canon" and popular.
I have a few ideas I'm tinkering with at the moment, and a paper on the "Narrative of Identity" within Doctor Who that I'll share shortly. This is a blog for dissecting a pop culture phenomenon, and understanding its effect on a culture and its worth as a piece of entertainment.
